I had a checking account and someone wrote me a bad check. Now I am with Chez systems. What can I do about it?
I had a checking account and someone wrote me a check. I deposited the check into my checking account. I later found out that the check was not good. Therefore the bank closed my account and reported me to Chex Systems. Can I do anything about this or find another bank to use.

gpatrick900: You need more detail. The bank does not usually close your account for return check(s). They charge you a fee and any NSF funds fee and give you time to pay it back. My advice is go back to that bank (Different branch if possible) and explain what happen. Then ask them to remove it and reopen your account. and have them remove you from Chex systems -Be nice.
