I'm sure she's desperate, but its healthier and safest if the baby comes when they are ready. Sometimes they need to grow a few more days (or as long as two weeks) after the estimated due date. Best wishes to your sis!

museofsatie:  She can try walking, having sex, eating certain foods, doing squats, etc. However, none of that will guarantee that her baby will come any sooner; it's going to come when it wants to and not a moment sooner.

CassAnn:  Intercourse is known to induce labor sometimes and it wont hurt her or the baby. Some women I know swear by taking long walks too.

MommyX2:  Ive heard that nipple stimulation, sex, and internal massage of your cervix, which should probibly be done by a nurse, midwife, or someone trained , are all good things to jumpstart labor.

juice:  one of my friends got a prenatal massage and the therapist asked her if she wanted her to induce labor. My friend said yes and she went into labor the next day-2 weeks earlier!
